While Niantic Lab may have canceled their talk and subsequent gameplay show off at GDC for his or her upcoming Pokemon GO mobile game in exchange for additional development time before showing them back, the company did break the sport out for any quick gameplay preview at SXSW 2016.
In a relevant video which was recorded by YouTuber Eric F, who been in the SXSW talk where Pokemon GO was being previewed, we obtain to look at a few of the initial phases of the items the gameplay may be like whenever we walk around in the real world trying to catch Pokemon. In the end get to see the overall map, in addition to a Pokemon appearing within the ‘wild’ and it is subsequent capture, we do not see other things using the gameplay.
Another thing that’s interesting is the fact that there doesn’t really seem to be much of strategy when it comes to capturing a Pokemon. You simply seem to ‘throw’ your Pokeball until it captures it. No pre-capture battle to weaken it or anything like this. Granted this is a very early consider the gameplay, to ensure that could certainly change. It is a bit concerning though.
Whatever the situation might be, we will keep following a growth and development of Pokemon GO. In the meantime, you can check out the gameplay video above.
