Korean RPG Buddy Rush has a sequel rolling out at the end of the month

Released by Sollmo, Buddy Rush 2 is the sequel towards the original Buddy Rush, and is being presented onto Android. Such as the first one, the game’s visuals are focused on being “cute’, therefore the characters are all rendered with large heads on smallish bodies, within an almost doll-like fashion. All of the characters, controlled by players or NPC, good or bad, are classified as “buddies”.

Players will have 14 of those buddies to choose from, with more to come, which have five amounts of evolution each, as well as three elements. When players assemble a team of buddies, they’ll need to be mindful of how they interact, each complimenting the weaknesses of another. Players will also be able to try their submit the asynchronous PvP arena, in addition to perform raids on over-sized bad buddies. In a feature that’s ‘coming soon’, players will also have have the ability to participate in the Castle of Crisis, where players must defend their own castle while attacking their friends’ castles.

Buddy Rush 2 Features:

– Simple but challenging leveling system with async PVP arenas
– 14 Unique Buddies (currently 14, more to be released) with 3 Elements and 5 Amounts of Evolution
– Each Buddy comes with their own skills (differs between elements) and evolution system.
– Upgrade and customize your Buddies with dropped items, crafted items and rare items from gacha
– Mission Mode: Dungeons/maps to fight against Bad Buddies and obtain loot
– Challenge Mode: Go exploring with your team of buddies and gather material for evolution
– Arena Mode: Go head to head with other groups of Buddies and demonstrate to them who’s boss
– Raid Mode: Fight HUGE Bad Buddies house from friends and get EPIC loot
– Castle of Crisis (coming soon): Defend your castle and attack your friends’ castles
– Simple crafting system to create wearable gear and deadly weapons.
– Fun Gacha system lets you get random Buddies, weapons and gear

Lastly, players can gather materials to evolve their characters, as well as pick up dropped loot, or craft their very own, to upgrade their equipment, to state nothing of the a large number of cosmetic possibilities. The sport even features a “Gacha” system for players to get random weapons and equipment.

Buddy Rush 2 has already been released in Korea, and likely to be formally released elsewhere by the end of this month. It’s slated to become free with optional IAPs too. You can check out the game’s trailer (Korean) using the video below in addition to additional screenshots.
