Bandai Namco pushes out a big update for their TCG title Outcast Odyssey

It appears that Bandai Namco happen to be busy little bees lately with regard to mobile games. Today the organization pushed out an update for their TCG called Outcast Odyssey which adds a few new features towards the game that actually changes in the gameplay quite a bit.

The first addition is the debuting of Exalted Cards. These are special rare version of standard cards, but they are denoted having a gold border instead. It’s not only about looks though with Exalted cards. Prepaid credit cards begin with exactly the same stats his or her normal counter-parts, but they end up gaining better stats when enhanced and their skills become much more effective in combat. Evolving an Exalted card requires a resource token and other Exalted cards. Prepaid credit cards may either be earned by defeating monsters, completing quests, or getting lucky with a booster pack.

The other feature making its debut may be the new Resource management system. Players can earn Resource Tokens through battles and completing quests as well. Every day of the week the particular resource being represented will change and may be either quite the hero, weapon, armor, pet, tech, nature or magic resource token. Because of the variety of Resource Token types, there is also an all-new inventory screen will show players their current resources.

Both of those features will be available now at the beginning of the Dahlia’s quest. So if you haven’t already downloaded this update, you’ll want to achieve this at some point.
