MU: Origin second closed beta testing phase begins next month. Sign-ups are now live.

Today Webzen has announced the second closed beta testing phase for that Western form of MU: Origin will be starting early the following month. Should you be lucky enough to get into the first closed beta phase recently, you’ll curently have advisable on which to anticipate with this new beta phase. Obviously there will be some changes that’ll be a new comer to first round testers as well.

In case you are not acquainted with MU: Origin, or the MU franchise itself, all of this originally started being an MMORPG which gained quite a good following in the Western, along with a massive one in the East. The franchise itself has been around hours. Not too long ago mobile gamers within the East ended up getting a mobile form of laptop computer MMORPG called MU: Origin. The West is finally setting it up too. This is a true 3D MMORPG too, with players playing in real-time and cross-platform.

This is a fantasy-themed MMORPG that contains lots of dungeon crawling in addition to open world exploration. You’ve got a lot of your standard MMORPG features for example a bidding house, guilds, party-based dungeons and solo ones, PvP, weapon/armor crafting and enhancing, and so forth. There is also quite a lot of character customization which may be done in a number of ways, from skills to gear and wings. There’s three classes available when you begin: Elf (Archer), Dark Knight, and Dark Wizard. All of these are pretty self-explanatory as to what they’re.

Without entering too much more detail, MU: Origin also features an interesting leveling system. Every 100 levels your character gains is recognized as their ‘Rebirth’. So your first 100 levels is actually called Rebirth0 Level 87 for instance. After you pass the 100 level mark in Rebirth0, you’ll transfer to ReBirth1. This goes for each 100 your character levels up, with Rebirth9 being the highest we had being offered during the first closed beta. You can check out our full hands-on of MU: Origin in the first closed beta for more details.

If you missed the first closed beta, you now have the chance to enter into the 2nd closed beta. This one will be shorter compared to first, with the running time being March 4th to March 6th, so a total of 72 hours. If all goes well, we should begin to see the full Western release a couple days after this closed beta ends. Currently there is a Spring 2016 launch here we are at that to occur.
