Final Fantasy 2 is now available for free for a limited time through the Final Fantasy Portal app

Generally people prefer to explain the pricing Square Enix does with their mobile games, simply because it doesn’t stick to the $0.99-$2.99 budget range most games come under. Instead their titles are often $7.99-$15.99 in price. But also for a limited time you now have the opportunity to snag Final Fantasy 2 for Android for the discounted price of FREE.

If you do not have the ultimate Fantasy Portal app installed, we recommend grabbing a duplicate of it once you can, because that’s how you will be obtaining a free copy of Final Fantasy 2 for the Android device. If you have it installed, then you’re already one step ahead. Why are they giving it away? To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the release of the Portal app.

Once you will find the Portal application installed, you will see a news post just a little ways down on the primary page that discusses the 1year anniversary from the Portal app release. Whenever you open that post, you will see it talking about having the ability to download Final Fantasy 2 for free. You will see a hyperlink towards the iOS version, along with a link to the Android version of Final Fantasy 2. From there just tap on the link and you will be downloading the game free of charge.

Interestingly enough, the particular copy of Final Fantasy II is gone from Google Play, probably just for the duration of this freebie giveaway. You can download a duplicate from the Portal application from Google Play free of charge. You will have until February 14th to grab Final Fantasy II free of charge.
