Koplayer Android/Windows emulator officially launches today

Windows users already have a few options available to them with regards to running Android on your PC, and today a replacement has officially launched called Koplayer. This application allows you to run a number of instances of Android fitted machine.

Koplayer is a ‘plug-n-play’ application where you do the installation and you’re available it immediately with having the ability to play Android games or use Android apps fitted machine. It also has a feature called Multi-Manager, which lets users run multiple, simultaneous virtual Android instances. Users can either customize each one of these, or simply quickly clone the initial instance and provide it a different reputation for each one of these. So, for instance, if you want to operate a more active game in one window while keeping track of a slower game with timers or something similar, you could have both open simultaneously.

There’s a few interesting features with Koplayer. The applying supports both 1280×720 and 1024×600 resolution. Users can configure the amount of video RAM they would like to commit to this. Additionally, there are are pre-configured hotkeys for screenshots and game video recording, and for activating the digital camera (if your PC has one), configuring/accessing a shared folder, and adjusting your volume. Users also have a default ‘boss key’ for hiding their active window from their boss at work, if they are playing a game title while they should be working.

Games with touchscreen controls can have Keyboard mode activated (using F12) and keys can be configured to make use of the touch controls. Configuring this is accomplished by activating Keyboard mode, clicking the screen in which the touch control is situated (as an onscreen button), then pressing the key in your keyboard that you want to use as that button.

While most emulators such as this are designed for use with both Android applications and games, that one is more focused on the gaming facet of things. If you want to try out Koplayers, you are able to grab a duplicate from it using their official website.
